Our Story
Cliff Webb founded Amtec Service Company in 1976, originally known as "Amtec Corrosion Control." Initially, the company focused primarily on corrosion engineering for large-scale pipelines, military infrastructure, and other significant projects. Over time, Amtec expanded its operations into the Mobile Home Community industry. While designing cathodic protection systems for gas systems in these communities, Amtec was also requested to perform safety gas system inspections. As time went on, the company underwent a name change to Amtec Service Company, better reflecting its core function as a service provider to clients and their communities. Presently, Amtec remains a family-operated company, with Cliff and his son Austin at the helm.
